HR Workforce and Regulatory Compliance and Related Investigations

WorkPlace HR evaluates and assists with planning, developing, implementing, administering, and performing ongoing evaluation of financial, operational, and human resource functions within the organization. Our experienced consultants assist clients in

  • Complying with nondiscriminatory EEO obligations under all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations;
  • Evaluating compliance by government contractors with their Affirmative Action Plans, affirmative action and related record keeping obligations that are enforced by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and related OFCCP-enforced obligations;
  • Supporting employers, including government contractors, in their responses and submissions in a wide range of government audits and investigations by federal, state, and local agencies, including OFCCP audits and investigating Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges and complaints of workplace discrimination and noncompliance;
  • Investigating internal complaints received by employers alleging harassment, discrimination, or retaliation and providing detailed investigative results and recommendations; and 
  • Conducting employers' self-directed workplace investigations and audits (typically at the direction of counsel on an attorney privileged basis) to assess compliance on a wide range of issues, including EEO matters and wage and hour compliance reviews under the Fair Labor Standards. Service Contract, and Davis Bacon Acts and applicable state and local laws.
